🚨 Benjamin Šeško Must Start Against Sabah — It’s Time to Unleash United’s No. 9 🔴
Manchester United face Sabah in the Champions League, and there is one decision Michael Carrick should seriously consider: Benjamin Šeško must start as the club’s No. 9.
Šeško has already shown enough in his limited minutes to deserve a proper run of games leading the line.
The Slovenian striker came off the bench against Everton and immediately looked like a player capable of changing the game. His strength, movement, physical presence and ability to attack space gave United’s attack a completely different dimension.
He came close to winning the match for United, and that cameo should be enough to convince Carrick that Šeško deserves an opportunity from the start.
🔴 Give Šeško the No. 9 role
Manchester United need a striker who can occupy defenders, attack crosses, hold the ball up and create space for the players around him.
Šeško has the physical profile to do exactly that.
Rather than constantly managing his minutes, this could be the perfect opportunity to give him a full 90 minutes and allow him to build confidence and understanding with United’s attacking players.
The Champions League fixture against Sabah presents an ideal stage for that.
👀 Could this be the beginning of something big?
Å eÅ¡ko doesn’t need to prove everything in one match. What he needs is consistent opportunities.
A striker cannot properly establish himself if he is constantly coming on for short periods. Give him starts, allow him to develop rhythm and let him understand the movements of the players around him.
If he performs, the decision becomes even easier.
United invested heavily in Šeško because they believe he can become an important striker for the club. Now is the time to start seeing what he can do with a sustained run in the team.
🔥 My verdict
Benjamin Šeško should start against Sabah.
Put him at No. 9, give him the responsibility of leading the attack and let him show exactly what he can bring to Manchester United.
He has already given us glimpses.
Now, give him the opportunity to turn those glimpses into something bigger. 🔴
Would you start Šeško against Sabah?
