🚨🇬🇧 Mainoo & Rashford Named in Thomas Tuchel’s England Squad! 🔴🦁
Manchester United duo Kobbie Mainoo and Marcus Rashford have both retained their places in Thomas Tuchel’s latest England squad for the upcoming international break.
Mainoo’s inclusion is particularly significant after the midfielder was part of England’s 2026 World Cup squad but did not feature during the tournament. Tuchel has now kept faith with the 21-year-old as England begin a new chapter in the UEFA Nations League.
Rashford has also earned another international call-up following his strong start to the season. The forward remains an important option for Tuchel and currently has 78 England caps and 19 goals to his name.
However, there was disappointment for several other Manchester United players.
Luke Shaw, Mason Mount and Harry Maguire have all been left out of the latest squad. Shaw has missed United’s recent matches with a fitness issue, while Maguire continues to be outside Tuchel’s current selection.
For Mainoo and Rashford, the call-up provides another opportunity to impress on the international stage and strengthen their positions within Tuchel’s England plans.
England’s upcoming Nations League campaign includes a major opening fixture against Spain at Wembley on September 26, followed by matches against the Czech Republic and Croatia.
🔴 Manchester United fans, are you happy to see Mainoo and Rashford back with England?
