🚨🚨 BREAKING: NUNO MENDES WANTS MANCHESTER UNITED MOVE! 🇵🇹🔴
Manchester United could reportedly make a move for Paris Saint-Germain left-back Nuno Mendes in January, with fresh reports claiming that the Portuguese international is interested in a switch to Old Trafford.
Mendes has been linked with Manchester United for some time, and the left-back position remains an area the Red Devils could look to strengthen. Recent reporting has again connected the 23-year-old with a potential move to England.
🔴 Mendes reportedly interested in United
According to the latest reports, Nuno Mendes wants a move to Manchester United in January. The Portuguese defender is regarded as one of Europe’s outstanding attacking left-backs, making him an attractive option for United if they decide to reinforce the position.
Mendes previously worked under Ruben Amorim at Sporting CP before moving to PSG, which helped fuel speculation about a possible reunion at Manchester United. Earlier reports also claimed Mendes was keen on joining Amorim at Old Trafford.
💰 PSG could make negotiations difficult
Any potential deal would likely be complicated by Mendes’ importance to PSG. He has established himself as a key player in Paris and is widely regarded as one of the best left-backs in European football.
Manchester United will therefore have to consider both the transfer fee and the player’s salary demands if they decide to pursue the deal.
Interestingly, United’s need for a left-back has remained a major talking point. Recent transfer reporting indicated that the club failed to strengthen the position during the summer window and could revisit the situation in a future transfer window.
👀 Could Mendes really arrive at Old Trafford?
For now, this should be treated as transfer speculation rather than a done deal. There is no official confirmation from Manchester United, PSG or Mendes that a January transfer has been agreed.
However, if Mendes is genuinely open to joining United, his potential availability could become one of the biggest stories of the January transfer window.
A move would give Manchester United an elite attacking full-back with Champions League experience and could provide another major boost to the squad.
Manchester United fans, would you welcome Nuno Mendes at Old Trafford? 🔴👀
