Matheus Cunha Shows Love for Manchester United Badge After First Champions League Goal 🔴❤️
Matheus Cunha delivered another memorable moment in a Manchester United shirt after scoring his first-ever Champions League goal during United’s 4–0 victory over Sabah.
The Brazilian forward was among the players who made their mark as Michael Carrick’s side enjoyed a comfortable European night at Old Trafford, but it was Cunha’s celebration that particularly caught the attention of United supporters.
After finding the back of the net, Cunha immediately turned towards the Manchester United badge and showed his love for the club. 🔴❤️
It was a simple gesture, but one that will undoubtedly mean a lot to supporters who have quickly embraced the Brazilian since his arrival.
Cunha has already shown plenty of passion and personality since becoming a United player, and celebrating by pointing towards the badge was another reminder of how much wearing the famous red shirt means to him.
A special Champions League moment 🌟
For Cunha personally, the goal was even more significant because it marked his first goal in the UEFA Champions League.
Playing on one of Europe’s biggest stages, the Brazilian showed his quality in front of the Old Trafford crowd and continued to build momentum as he adapts to life at Manchester United.
United supporters will be hoping this is only the beginning.
With Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, Marcus Rashford, Benjamin Šeško and Joshua Zirkzee competing for attacking roles, United now have several options capable of making a difference in the final third.
Cunha’s combination of technical ability, aggression and work rate makes him particularly exciting, and moments like this celebration show that he is already beginning to form a strong connection with the supporters.
United fans have another reason to believe ❤️
A first Champions League goal, a comfortable United victory and a celebration dedicated to the badge — it was certainly a night to remember for Cunha.
