Selfpic1 🚨 Wayne Rooney reacts to Manchester United’s incredible comeback against Roma!
🗣️ “It reminded me of how Sir Alex Ferguson used to turn games around at Old Trafford back in the day.”
Michael Carrick deserves credit for making three brilliant substitutions. Youri Tielemans, Lisandro Martínez and Shea Lacey all made a huge impact after coming on for the injured Carlos Baleba, Ayden Heaven and Amad Diallo.
But honestly, Shea Lacey was outstanding! He did more in 15 minutes than Amad managed in 75. He was fearless, constantly took on Roma defenders, made intelligent runs and delivered accurate passes.
He won the penalty and provided the assist for Matheus Cunha’s winning goal. What more could you ask from a young player?
At this point, Lacey deserves a starting opportunity ahead of Amad, whose performances have been disappointing lately.
Bruno Fernandes also stepped up with a brilliant second-half display.
This is what Champions League nights at Old Trafford should feel like. What a comeback! What a night! ❤️🔥
