😱 Dorgu Starts at Left-Back Under Michael Carrick for the First Time!
Manchester United have made an interesting change in defence, with Patrick Dorgu starting at left-back under Michael Carrick for the first time. 🔴
The Danish international has previously been used in different roles, but Carrick has now handed him the opportunity to operate in his natural left-back position.
Dorgu’s pace, strength and ability to carry the ball forward could give United another dimension down the left flank. His attacking instincts could also provide more width and help United progress the ball higher up the pitch.
This is an important opportunity for Dorgu to show Carrick that he can be trusted as a regular option at left-back.
With competition for places increasing, a strong performance could go a long way toward establishing Dorgu as Carrick’s preferred choice in the position.
👀 Do you think Dorgu should now become Manchester United’s first-choice left-back?
