🧤 GOALKEEPERS
Manchester United’s goalkeeping department includes:
– Karl Darlow
– Tom Heaton
– Senne Lammens
– Dermot Mee
Experienced goalkeeper Tom Heaton provides leadership and experience, while the presence of Darlow, Lammens and Mee gives Carrick additional options between the posts.
🛡️ DEFENDERS
The defensive group is made up of:
– Patrick Dorgu
– Diogo Dalot
– Matthijs de Ligt
– Harry Maguire
– Lisandro Martínez
– Noussair Mazraoui
– Luke Shaw
There is a strong mixture of experience and versatility in this group.
Lisandro Martínez and Matthijs de Ligt provide quality at centre-back, while Harry Maguire offers another experienced option.
On the flanks, Dalot, Mazraoui, Shaw and Dorgu give Carrick different options depending on the tactical approach and opposition.
Patrick Dorgu, in particular, could be an interesting player to watch as Carrick continues developing his preferred system.
⚙️ MIDFIELDERS
The midfield department contains:
– Carlos Baleba
– Bruno Fernandes
– Mason Mount
– Andrey Santos
– Youri Tielemans
– Manuel Ugarte
This could be one of the most important areas of Carrick’s squad.
Captain Bruno Fernandes remains the creative heartbeat of the team, while Youri Tielemans adds passing ability and experience.
Manuel Ugarte provides defensive strength and ball-winning qualities, while Carlos Baleba brings energy and physicality to the middle of the pitch.
Andrey Santos also gives Carrick another young option with plenty of potential.
With different profiles available, the manager has the opportunity to build several midfield combinations depending on the match situation.

Manchester United’s attacking options include:
– Amad Diallo
– Matheus Cunha
– Bryan Mbeumo
– Marcus Rashford
– Benjamin Šeško
– Joshua Zirkzee
This is arguably the most exciting part of the squad.
United have several players capable of creating chances, scoring goals and playing in multiple attacking positions.
Amad provides creativity and technical quality, while Matheus Cunha offers versatility and the ability to operate between midfield and attack.
Bryan Mbeumo adds pace, directness and attacking threat, while Marcus Rashford remains one of the club’s most experienced attacking players.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Šeško gives United another powerful attacking option, with Joshua Zirkzee providing a different style of play through his link-up ability and technical qualities.
🔥 A NEW-LOOK MANCHESTER UNITED
The squad list highlights the changes taking place under Michael Carrick.
United appear to have placed emphasis on athleticism, versatility, creativity and depth, particularly in midfield and attack.
The addition of players such as Baleba, Tielemans, Mbeumo and Šeško alongside established stars gives Carrick a number of different tactical options.
The challenge now is turning the individual quality into a cohesive team capable of competing consistently throughout the season.
👀 BRUNO FERNANDES REMAINS THE LEADER
One of the most notable names on the list is, of course, Bruno Fernandes.
The Portuguese midfielder remains central to Manchester United’s plans and will once again carry significant responsibility as captain and creative leader.
With more attacking options around him, United supporters will be hoping Bruno can continue producing goals, assists and match-winning performances.

Who will become first-choice?
Which new signing will make the biggest impact?
Can United challenge for major honours?
